Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Analyze and report on financial variances to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles (GAAP).
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and ensure financial data accuracy.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience: 1 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
