Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Boston, MA

Job Type: Temp-to-Perm

Hourly Rate: $35 - $40 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview: We are seeking a professional and reliable Administrative Assistant . The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the communications department. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering an excellent opportunity for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain calendar, scheduling meetings, calls, and appointments.
  • Prepare and proofread internal and external communications, including emails, presentations, and reports.
  • Coordinate logistics for team meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for client meetings and presentations.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Interface with senior executives, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication.
  • Manage day-to-day office tasks and maintain efficient filing systems.
  • Assist with special projects as required by the communications department.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably supporting senior executives.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs.
  • A proactive, positive, and collaborative team player.
  • Previous experience in a corporate communications environment is a plus.
