Job Description

Location: Enumclaw, WA (In-person)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM (20 hours per week)

Position Summary

Big Mountain Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Coordinator to provide administrative and project support across multiple departments. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized and enjoys working collaboratively to keep projects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for Accounting, Project Management, Estimating, and Field teams
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and screen solicitations
  • Greet and assist office visitors
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Manage the Accounts Payable email inbox
  • Maintain storage of job documents uploaded from Field staff
  • Oversee and maintain the Good to Go account
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) as requested
  • Create and enter new Change Orders in accounting and project management software
  • Print and prepare project plans
  • Prepare invoices and delivery tickets for processing
  • Assist with month-end close tasks
  • Create and organize new job binders
  • Serve as a backup for Project Coordinator/Purchasing duties

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Computer Ease and HCSS Heavy Job software preferred
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments
  • Positive, professional, and dependable work ethic

Hours & Work Environment

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM (20 hours/week)
  • Work Location: In-person, Enumclaw, WA office

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $21 – $28 per hour, depending on experience
  • Benefits:
  • Paid sick leave in accordance with Washington State law

  • Consistent daytime schedule (Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
