Job Description
Position Overview: The Assistant Project Manager will provide support to the Project Manager in the coordination of commercial, industrial, and electrical construction projects. Key Responsibilities - Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Lead project meetings and communicate project status to the Project Manager, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Track and document project deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
- Monitor and report on project progress and provide regular updates.
- Compile submittal packages and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage project budget and cost tracking.
- Develop construction schedules and perform regular schedule updates.
- Ensure project requirements are met and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Provide project support and assistance with contract administration and claims.
- Assist with quality control and safety inspections.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in project management, construction management, electrical engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project management or related experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of electrical construction practices, NEC codes, and Accubid.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
