Assistant Property Manager

Full-Time | On-Site | Temp-to-Hire

About the Role

We’re hiring an Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our residential and commercial properties. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with the Property Manager to help maintain high occupancy, deliver excellent tenant service, and keep properties running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with leasing efforts, including showing units, screening applicants, and preparing lease documents
  • Support tenant communication and respond to maintenance requests
  • Help coordinate repairs, inspections, and vendor services
  • Monitor rent collection and follow up on delinquencies
  • Maintain accurate records and organize resident files
  • Conduct move-in/move-out walk-throughs and inspections
  • Support marketing efforts to attract new tenants
  • Provide backup coverage for the Property Manager as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in property management, leasing, or customer service is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
  • Detail-oriented and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
