Role Overview
The Capital Markets Associate will be responsible for sourcing, cultivating, and closing equity partners and capital sources across Okada & Company’s portfolio. You’ll support senior leadership in fundraising, manage investor pipelines, and help grow our brand with investors and strategic capital partners.
We are looking for a tenacious dealmaker who understands both the art of the relationship and the science of capital.

Key Responsibilities
• Capital Sourcing: Identify and secure new capital from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, RIAs, funds, and real estate investors.
• Fundraising Campaigns: Execute targeted outreach, follow-ups, and digital campaigns aligned with active raises
• Investor Collateral: Develop, refine, and customize pitch decks, investment summaries, deal teasers, and PPMs with marketing and finance teams.
• CRM Management: Maintain investor database, track interactions, follow-up cadences, and KPIs using HubSpot or similar tools.
• Investor Relations Support: Assist in onboarding, compliance, and communication for existing investor base; prep quarterly reports, updates, and deal closes.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate with brokerage, acquisitions, construction, and technology to align investor messaging with active project milestones.
• Media & Storytelling: Work with Real Estate Weekly and Okada Media to spotlight active deals and engage broader investor audiences.

Requirements
• 2–5 years in capital raising, investment sales, finance, private equity, or real estate.
• Strong network of HNW or accredited investors—or a roadmap to build one.
• Strong command of capital structures, investor underwriting, and financial modeling basics.
• Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills.
• Tech-savvy with CRM and marketing tools; familiarity with real estate deal platforms is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or real estate.
