Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver / Sign Installer to join our team. This dual-role position involves operating commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites, as well as performing hands-on installation of a variety of signage, including pole signs, monument signs, wall signs, and digital displays.

Shift - Mon-Thurs 5:30 am - 4 pm; overtime is Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles (typically bucket trucks, cranes, or flatbeds) to transport and install signage.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of sign materials and equipment.
  • Install signs at client locations according to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform layout and positioning of signs based on drawings, blueprints, and site surveys.
  • Safely operate lifts, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and comply with local codes.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain clean and organized vehicles, tools, and workspaces.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) required, with a clean driving record.
  • 1+ years of experience in sign installation or related construction/electrical field preferred.
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and DOT regulations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
