Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Claims Examiner/Claims Specialist to support a reputable organization in El Monte Area. This is great opportunity to use your claims knowledge and analytical skills in a meaningful way helping ensure accuracy fairness, and efficiency in the claims process.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process medical claims for accuracy and completeness

  • Verify coverage, eligibility, and compliance with policy guidelines

  • Research and resolve discrepancies with healthcare providers or members

  • Determine appropriate claim outcomes based on established criteria

  • Accurately enter and track claim data in internal systems

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in medical claims, insurance, or healthcare administration

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills

  • Clear communication and professional email/phone etiquette

  • Experience with claims or insurance software preferred

  • Reliable and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Title: Medical Claims Examiner / Claims Specialist (2-Month Temporary Assignment)
Location: El Monte, CA (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $24-$26 per hour
Duration: Approximately 2 months
