Job Description

Company Description

ESW Beauty is a clean skincare brand inspired by a love for healthy living and wellness. Best known for our Raw Juice Sheet Masks and Smoothie Lip Treatments, our products blend clean, effective ingredients with a fun and functional experience. You can find ESW Beauty at leading national retailers including Whole Foods Market, Target, Walgreens, Sprouts, and more.

Location: NYC/NJ (remote-first, occasional in-office required)

About the Role:

As a Demand Planner at ESW Beauty, you will play a critical role in supporting our forecasting and planning efforts to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Sales, Finance, and Marketing—to build and optimize a new demand planning system from the ground up. You will be instrumental in shaping our forecasting processes, maintaining accurate demand forecasts, supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and placing orders directly with our manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate rolling demand forecasts at SKU and account levels with a focus on short- to mid-term horizons (6–12 months).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to update forecasts based on promotional plans, product launches, and market insights.
  • Analyze historical sales data, identify trends, and apply statistical models to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor sales trends, customer orders, and market data to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Support and actively contribute to the monthly S&OP process by preparing demand data, generating forecast reports, and participating in review meetings.
  • Lead efforts to design, implement, and refine a new demand planning system and related workflows, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
  • Place purchase orders directly with manufacturers, ensuring timely production and delivery aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Track forecast accuracy and performance metrics; identify gaps and recommend adjustments to optimize inventory levels.
  • Assist with SKU management activities, including new product setups, changes, and phase-outs.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards for leadership to provide visibility into demand trends and forecast performance.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and special projects aimed at enhancing overall demand planning effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or an analytical role
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions.
  • Familiarity with demand planning or ERP systems (experience with Cin7 Core is a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strategic thinker who can look beyond immediate forecasting to support longer-term business goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, growing company environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills, particularly in building and optimizing demand planning systems.
  • Must be available for in-person training at our NJ office for the first two months
