Position: Director of International Amazon Operations

Position Overview:

This role is critical to the company, overseeing international operations, global supply chain management, and market expansion while ensuring efficiency across multiple regions. The individual in this position will report directly to our VP of International Expansion and play a key role in optimizing inventory flow and driving data-informed decision-making.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

International Amazon Operations & Supply Chain Management:

• Analyze global inventory levels and collaborate with the operations team to evaluate and initiate purchase orders for replenishment across international markets.
• Utilize proprietary tools and reports to assess inventory trends and optimize supply chain processes across eCommerce platforms.
• Proactively identify and resolve production and supply chain challenges, considering lead times, sales trends, and country-specific regulations.
• Manage and coordinate all inventory orders, payments, escalations, and shipments between international warehouses, vendors, and platforms.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth inventory workflows, such as moving a label from creative to compliance to print, while adhering to international regulatory standards.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with global manufacturers, logistics providers, and supply chain partners to ensure seamless production and distribution.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager to oversee international shipments, customs clearance, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse organization.

Financial & Reporting Analytics:

• Analyze financial performance across platforms and products to make critical business decisions.
• Manage and report data to leadership, providing insights for operational improvements.
• Identify and establish KPIs to drive growth and efficiency.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and develop dynamic data models to streamline future reporting needs.

Compliance Management & Internal Market Expansion:

• Work closely with the Director of Compliance to ensure all international regulations are met.
• Investigate inventory procurement and logistic solutions for new international markets and lead expansion initiatives.
• Oversee inventory compliance processes to ensure smooth entry into new global marketplaces.

Executive Support & Strategic Project Management:

• Assist the Executive Team with problem-solving and managing global projects, ensuring smooth execution of international initiatives and market expansions.
• Support brand mergers and acquisitions, facilitating seamless transitions.
• Provide data-driven insights and operational recommendations to enhance efficiency and streamline processes across multiple regions.
