Description AV is expanding and we're looking for an
Electronic Technician to join our team! Our office is located in Sunrise, FL where we provide highly competitive satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular technologies and services to our government, law enforcement, and commercial customers. Primary Responsibilities Include - Constructs, maintains, and tests moderate electrical systems and components.
- Uses measuring and diagnostics tools to test and modify electronic parts.
- Receives instruction on specific objects.
- Receives direction on complex problems and possible solutions.
- Possess effective oral and written communications skills.
- May assist with communications pertaining specific assignments or meetings.
- Possibility of up to 25% traveling.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications - Associate’s degree in Electronics.
- 4 – 7 years of related experience.
- Effective knowledge of Schematic Capture and PCB layout software.
- Experience with RF/Microwave test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, vector signal analyzers, oscilloscopes).
- Excellent soldering skills.
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.

- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Salary Range: $31.98 - $42.42 per hour The AV pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
