The Macon plant was built in 1967. It manufactures egg cartons, lunch trays, and shake trays and employers over 200 employees.

The **Maintenance Supervisor **is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance department groups in performing work safely to achieve the plant objectives in safety, quality, OEE, PEPS and budget.

• Monitors and supports safe work practices in the department.
• Ensures the team is completing the planned work task as scheduled on all equipment.
• Participates in problem solving activities as required to achieve plant performance.
• Leads the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as outlined for downtime events.
• Tracks and manages follow up work orders to achieve a timely resolution to repairs.
• Manages the time keeping records for all areas of responsibility.
• Participates in Tier 0,1 and 2 meetings.
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
• Maintains excellent safety record.
• Maintains excellent attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience required:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification/Associates/BA in a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
• At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment ; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
• At least three (3) years of** leadership experience in the maintenance field**.
• Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Experience with 6S, A3 and other continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection and SAP experience preferred.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Strategic planning.
• Able to prioritize work.
• Demonstrate initiative in addressing and/or resolving repair issues.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to stand and/kneel frequently, lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be available on an on-call basis.
