About the Role

Protobrand is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Market Research Manager to join our growing team in Boston. We’re looking for someone passionate about consumer behavior and market research who can contribute to the innovative and forward-thinking culture that defines our firm.

In this role, you’ll lead research projects from start to finish—collaborating closely with client leads, strategists, and analysts to deliver insightful, story-driven recommendations. You’ll bring both strategic thinking and analytical rigor to help transform data into meaningful insights that drive client success.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage research projects end-to-end, including client communication, internal task delegation, and timeline management
  • Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on research findings
  • Oversee all phases of research, from questionnaire design and survey programming to data analysis, report preparation, and presentations
  • Mentor and support team members through coaching and constructive feedback

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in market research, ideally within an agency or client-side insights team
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Strong foundation in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver who can translate insights into compelling stories
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with client-facing experience
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with MarketSight or other survey analysis tools (preferred)
  • Interest in behavioral science and understanding what drives human decision-making
