Job Description

We're hiring a Marketing Copywriter

Location: Mostly remote (applicants must live within NH/MA/Maine for occasional in-person meetings in Portsmouth, NH)

Position Type: Part-time (25-30 hours per week, expected to work 5-6 hours per weekday during regular business hours)

Hourly Rate: $28 - $33 per hour, depending on experience

Benefits: Performance raises and bonuses

Correnti Marketing is seeking a talented Copywriter to join our growing team. In this role, you will craft compelling, conversion-focused copy across multiple platforms while supporting our diverse client base. You'll write strategic and engaging social media content, website copy, and email campaigns, and produce SEO-optimized blog posts that drive measurable results for our clients.

We're seeking a strategic wordsmith with 3+ years of copywriting experience who can adapt their voice to various brands and industries while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will excel in persuasive writing, understand conversion psychology, and demonstrate strong research skills in our collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

Copywriting & Content Development

  • Craft social media copy that engages and converts
  • Write website copy that drives action
  • Develop compelling email marketing campaigns and sequences
  • Write SEO-optimized blog posts for client websites
  • Create compelling ad copy for digital marketing campaigns
  • Write press releases and company announcements
  • Develop purposeful one-pager and presentation copy

Brand Voice & Messaging

  • Research and understand each client's unique brand voice
  • Maintain consistency across all written communications
  • Develop brand messaging frameworks and tone guidelines
  • Adapt writing style to match different industries and audiences
  • Create compelling value propositions and key messaging points

Research & Strategy

  • Conduct audience research to inform copy decisions
  • Research industry trends and competitor messaging
  • Implement keyword strategies across all written content
  • Collaborate on content marketing strategies with the team
  • Stay current with copywriting best practices and trends

Client Support

  • Handle copy-related client requests and revisions
  • Present copy concepts and rationale to clients
  • Incorporate client feedback while maintaining strategic direction
  • Build understanding of client business objectives
  • Provide copy expertise during client strategy sessions

Quality Assurance

  • Proofread and edit all copy before delivery
  • Ensure accuracy, grammar, and brand consistency
  • Fact-check content and verify claims
  • Maintain high standards across all deliverables
  • Review and optimize existing copy for performance

Project Management

  • Manage multiple copy projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Coordinate with design and marketing specialists on integrated campaigns
  • Maintain organized files and version control
  • Track project progress and communicate updates
  • Balance priorities across multiple client accounts

Administrative & Strategic Tasks

  • Document successful copy frameworks and templates
  • Organize and maintain copy libraries and brand guidelines
  • Contribute to new business proposals and presentations
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
  • Strong understanding of persuasive writing and conversion psychology
  • Experience with SEO copywriting and keyword integration
