Job Summary

Pharmacy Technician (Shift Differential)

Work Location:

97 McAlister Farm Rd, Portland, ME 04103, USA

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift Requirements:

• 5 days per week with rotating weekends
• Weekdays: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
• Rotating weekends: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Hours per Day: 8
• Hours per Week: 40

Certifications/Licenses:

• Maine Pharmacy Technician License (required)

Key Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with regulations.
• Assist pharmacists in final prescription checks, including medication staging and packaging.
• Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers.
• Support inventory management: receive and rotate stock, post lot numbers and expiration dates, assist in physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in collaboration with the Technician Supervisor.
• Check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
