Our client understands that in today’s capital-rich private equity market, success hinges on speed, precision, and strategy. They are seeking a highly driven and experienced Private Equity Partner to join their Tampa office. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a nationally recognised legal team that consistently delivers value, creativity, and results in complex middle-market transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage sophisticated private equity transactions with a focus on middle-market deals.
• Advise a broad range of clients, including private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, and portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and industry-specific experts to structure deals that are tax-efficient, strategic, and forward-looking.
• Oversee or directly participate in deal sourcing, negotiations, due diligence, and closings.
• Guide clients on the use and structure of representation and warranty (R&W) insurance policies.
• Partner with fund formation and litigation teams to deliver holistic client solutions.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Florida (or eligibility for admission).
• Extensive experience in private equity transactions, preferably in a large law firm environment.
• Deep knowledge of M&A, equity investments, and deal structures in the middle-market segment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead transactions and manage client relationships.
• Existing portable book of business,
