Job Description

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Analyst III professional will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all transactions related to Clean Products Trading and Supply movements within the company’s ERP system (SAP S4). This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining accurate inventory and supporting cross-functional teams in resolving discrepancies and optimizing scheduling processes.

Contract role until 11/2026

Work Schedule:

  • Onsite 5 days per week during training
  • Eligible to move to 4 days onsite per week after training completion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and verify the accuracy of all transactions related to Clean Products Trading and Supply movements in accordance with accounting standards within SAP S4 .
  • Run and analyze various reports in SAP S4 to monitor inventory builds/draws and ensure data accuracy throughout the month.
  • Collaborate closely with offshore managed service providers, scheduling teams, and traders to ensure positions and trades are properly reflected in accounting records.
  • Review complex Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW) requests escalated by Back Office and Volumetric Accounting, and assist in identifying appropriate resolutions.
  • Serve as a backup DEW reviewer when a scheduler is unavailable.
  • Partner with the Trade Support group to troubleshoot and resolve issues when nominations do not result in the intended inventory effect in SAP.
  • Prepare management reports and summaries of reconciliation findings.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate recurring issues or trends affecting inventory accuracy, and contribute to the development of corrective solutions.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements in scheduling and inventory management practices.
  • Provide hands-on assistance in resolving discrepancies during high-intensity periods, such as month-end close .

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience running financial and inventory reports in SAP (S4 preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience as a scheduler in the oil and gas industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and reading comprehension skills
  • Strong organizational , problem-solving , and analytical abilities
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands from multiple departments
  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to addressing internal client needs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
