Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Designer to join the EAI team! This individual needs to have experience in commercial/multi-family design, documentation, construction administration, coordination and furnishings.

This individual will lead design projects from concept through construction administration, and oversee multiple high-end residential and multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional design sensibility, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects.

 

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • 7+ years of experience in interior design, must have experience in multifamily. 
  • Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Expertise in construction documentation and administration
  • Proficiency in software such as but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365
  • Deep knowledge of applicable local building codes, finishes, lighting, plumbing, hardware, furniture, and sourcing vendors
  • Ability to mentor, guide, and review work for Project Designers and other team members
  • Strong client-facing skills with professional, positive communication
  • Solid understanding of the complete design process, design principles, color theory, and material selection
  • Ability to perform thorough quality control on all project deliverables
  • Ability to anticipate project needs, take initiative, and problem-solve independently
  • Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and installations
  • Aligns with EAI’s brand, aesthetic, and commitment to design excellence

  • Must be able to relocate to Austin, TX prior to start date (if not local)
