Job Description

👨‍💻 The Role -> Senior Provider Compensation Analyst:

  • Be the go-to expert on provider compensation for designated service lines of accountability
  • Advising and collaborating with teams across HR, shared services and operations
  • Build and manage dynamic cost models to guide pay structures at the individual, service line, and system level
  • Support high-impact talent acquisition and contract negotiations with actionable compensation insights
  • Play a key role in shaping compensation strategies for new services and organizational changes
  • Lead market research, surveys, and benchmarking to keep our pay practices competitive and compliant
  • Ensure our provider compensation data is accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
  • Oversee job leveling and maintain compliance with evolving wage and industry-specific regulations
  • Manage critical compensation projects and support leadership in hiring and workforce strategies
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating provider compensation databases
  • Mentor peers and help grow a high-performing, collaborative compensation team

✅ What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, strategy, and people and who can jump in with confidence. Ideal background includes:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business related field ( required )
  • 1+ year of experience in provider compensation or a closely related healthcare business field ( required )
  • Industry background – experience in provider services, practice management, service line operations, or healthcare finance
  • Analytical expertise – advanced Excel and analytical capabilities; comfortable synthesizing complex data into actionable insights
  • Healthcare knowledge –understand the nuances of healthcare operations and how they impact provider compensation
  • Strategic alignment –ability to connect compensation decisions to broader service line and organizational goals
  • Adaptability – ability to step in, contribute quickly, and navigate shifting priorities with ease
  • Planning experience –supported or led initiatives tied to strategic planning and financial forecasting
  • Relationship management –comfortable building trustworthy rapport with key stakeholders at all levels/functions of the organization
  • Big-picture mindset – strategic thinking and mindfulness of internal and external indicators impacting provider compensation

🌟 Bonus Points For:

  • 2+ years in provider compensation, healthcare finance, or service line analytics
  • Experience with Workday, Heisenberg II and/or other HRIS/compensation systems
  • Familiarity with network development support

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000; based on background and experience
