Skilled Bookkeeper Location San Francisco, CA : We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in the accounting department. As a bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.   • Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute invoices to clients and resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
  • Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain and manage inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking of all products and assets.
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
    • Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and guidelines.
    • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
