Job Description

Sr. Director of Technology and AI – Clinical Systems

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX (metro area) with remote flexibility for outstanding candidates across the United States

A nationwide leader in women’s health diagnostics is undertaking an ambitious technology-modernization program that will reshape how imaging services are delivered coast-to-coast. Reporting directly to the C-suite, the Sr. Director of Technology and AI will own the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of every clinical application that touches the patient journey—from scheduling through diagnosis and follow-up. This is your chance to pair hands-on technical know-how with decisive leadership to elevate patient outcomes while supporting aggressive multi-site growth.

Why Join

  • Mission with Meaning: Directly improve patient care for millions of women nationwide.
  • High Visibility: Daily collaboration with C-level executives and clinical leadership.
  • Growth Rocket: Company is doubling its footprint over the next 24 months—your innovations set the pace.
  • Modern Tech Stack: Freedom to design next-generation cloud, data, and AI solutions from the ground up.
  • Competitive Package: Strong base, performance bonus, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.

Key Impact Areas (first 12 months)

  • Roll out a stable, cloud-ready radiology information-system architecture that supports 99.9 percent uptime.
  • Launch an enterprise data framework that prepares imaging data for advanced analytics and machine-learning pilots.
  • Reduce exam-to-report turnaround by 20 percent through workflow automation.
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing clinical-applications team with an engaged, learning-centric culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the technology roadmap for clinical applications (scheduling, RIS, PACS, image-management, and emerging AI tools) in alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Lead full-lifecycle delivery—requirements, build, testing, deployment, and optimization—for system upgrades and new-site activations across a rapidly expanding, multi-state footprint.
  • Champion an AI-first mindset by identifying and piloting machine-learning use cases that improve diagnostic accuracy and throughput.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to translate workflow pain points into scalable, secure technology solutions.
  • Serve as executive owner for vendor relationships, negotiating SLAs, roadmaps, and co-innovation programs.
  • Establish rigorous governance around cybersecurity, privacy, and clinical compliance.
  • Manage multimillion-dollar budgets, metrics, and program operating rhythms to ensure on-time and on-scope delivery.
  • Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through coaching, clear KPIs, and career-pathing.

Background We’re Seeking

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare technology, clinical informatics, or enterprise software.
  • Deep experience overseeing core imaging or clinical platforms (e.g., RIS, PACS) at scale.
  • Proven success driving large, multi-site system implementations and integrations.
  • Hands-on familiarity with data architecture, interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), and AI/ML concepts.
  • Track record of people leadership—building and inspiring diverse, geographically distributed teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or related; Master’s preferred.

Compensation & Travel

  • Competitive base salary, plus 30 percent bonus and meaningful equity.
  • Travel 15–25 percent, primarily to flagship Dallas offices and regional imaging centers.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Our culture thrives on diverse perspectives that drive better technology and healthier communities.
