Supply Chain & Logistics Director position is a critical leadership role within EthosEnergy's Western Hemisphere and a key contributor to the overall organizational success by ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services, ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and overall business performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce cost and enhance overall performance.
  • Oversee supply chain policy and compliance, procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiations to ensure the highest quality products and services at the best value.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Work with business leaders to establish demand planning, warehousing and inventory management strategies, and operational metrics to ensure compliance and process optimization in these activities.
  • Drive operational/transactional procurement efficiency while leveraging strategic category sourcing strategies where applicable.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and data governance, track key performance indicators, and streamline processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other partners to ensure a reliable and resilient supply chain network.
  • Work with technical teams to establish & drive standards for supplier approval and product qualification (in collaboration with engineering and quality).
  • Maintain an Approved Supplier List (ASL) of critical sources for the regions.
  • Maintain and enhance the 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) program to ensure optimal promised OTD of materials & major critical equipment and continuous shipping lane analysis.
  • Work cross-functionally to support the Supplier Quality SCAR process along with any supplier warranty or non-conformance disputes to resolution.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to address challenges and opportunities proactively.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Experience collaborating with global teams, developing direct reports, excellent written and verbal skills (English), other language skills desired, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, ability to effect change, anticipating changing situations and embracing change.
  • Understanding the cost factors that affect internal sources and how sourcing decisions affect the overall business; for example, Should Cost Analysis, Make vs Buy analysis, etc.
  • Building effective teams.
  • Fostering change and innovation.
  • Creating value for internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrates business acumen and agility.

Experience

  • Proven experience (12+ years) in a supply chain and logistics leadership role.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of demand planning, category management, strategic sourcing procurement, inventory management, and warehousing processes.
  • Familiarity with supply chain technologies, IoT and software.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Manufacturing or engineered procurement a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
  • Experience working with international and cultural

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Physical Requirements
