Job Description

Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Nashville, TN, to find a System Engineer to lead the development of electronic and electromechanical controls within product development projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee system design, define system requirements and create designs for hardware, software, and firmware.
• Lead verification & testing. Develop test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
• Develop system architecture and detailed design specifications, including creating functional block diagrams to visually represent how components interact and ensuring all parts meet performance and safety requirements.
• Lead and manage engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Ensure designs meet industry safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation for system design, testing, and future support.

Basic Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering. Masters Preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in electronic systems development
• Expertise in V-model methodologies
• Strong background in system integration, communications protocols, and control logic.
• Experience with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test instrumentation
