We are looking for a creative, driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the corporate Duravant team. Reporting directly into the Director- Talent Management, the TA Specialist will recruit for all field service and field service leadership positions, supporting our Lifecycle Services team across all US and Canadian operating companies. We are looking for a TA professional that is creative and engaging in their recruitment approach, has a strong understanding of Field Service/skilled labor recruitment , can clearly deliver our employer brand, and aligns with our Duravant values. From attending career fairs, visiting operating companies domestically, partnering with trade schools across the US, and acting as a vital voice to market Duravant and our family of companies, the TA Specialist will help continue the growth of our internal recruitment function.

Responsibilities for Recruiter

  • Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position, and develop a deep understanding of the field service positions
  • Meet hiring goals while ensuring the candidate experience is of the highest standards
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, including Field Service Technicians and Field Service Management.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Passively recruit and build a pipeline of engage candidates
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by partnering with the Director of Talent Management and TA recruitment team in designing and managing the recruitment process across the operating companies
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospective future candidates
  • Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements in partnership with hiring managers
  • Assist operating companies in the creation of job descriptions
  • Perform reference checks as needed
  • Facilitate the offer process for corporate positions or partner with Operating Company HR leaders for their positions
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process while ensuring hiring managers play a key role in the candidates onboarding
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process as the candidate’s key point of contact
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

Qualifications for Recruiter

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of recruiting experience in field service or skilled labor
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems, Paycom preferred
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues including LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, etc.
