Pay Rate: $25.00+ per hour

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a motivated and hands-on Technician to support their operations in Portage, Michigan. This role involves equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general technical support across the facility. A college degree is not required, but prior experience in a technical, mechanical, or maintenance-related field is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, or technical issues with equipment and tools

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability

• Assist with equipment installation and configuration

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve recurring issues

• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe and clean working environment

• Support continuous improvement efforts and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1+ years of experience in a technical, mechanical, or hands-on role preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems is a plus

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
