Responsibilities

As the Practice Manager , your role will include:

  • Overseeing daily clinic operations to ensure efficiency and seamless workflows.
  • Partnering with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional client and patient care.
  • Collaborating with Associated Veterinary Partners (AVP) to implement operational goals, recruitment efforts, and onboarding initiatives.
  • Monitoring and managing financial performance, including budgeting, payroll, and expense control.
  • Developing and enforcing hospital policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Leading training, professional development, and performance management for staff.
  • Fostering a positive, team-oriented culture focused on innovation, learning, and client satisfaction.
  • Acting as a point of contact for client feedback and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of management experience in a veterinary, medical, or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Technology: Proficiency with veterinary practice management software is a plus.
  • Education: A degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Mindset: A proactive, adaptable attitude with a focus on operational success and employee engagement.
