Job Title: Seasonal Event Staff

Location: Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort, Spearfish, SD

Job Type: Seasonal, Part-Time/Full-Time

Reports To: Events Manager

Pay Rate: $15/hr

 

Job Summary:

Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Seasonal Event Staff to assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of events at the resort. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests attending weddings, corporate events, concerts, and other gatherings. Duties include event setup, customer service, coordination with vendors, and maintaining a clean and organized event space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment for events.
• Greet and direct guests upon arrival, providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
• Assist vendors, performers, and event coordinators as needed.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide information about resort amenities and event details.
• Ensure event spaces comply with safety and resort policies.
• Support the Events Coordinator in executing planned activities, following Event BEO, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Previous events or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow event setup instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
