About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Licensed Customs Broker to join a leading global logistics provider. In this role, you will oversee customs clearance processes, ensure compliance with international trade regulations, and support the efficient movement of goods worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, high-performing team within a fast-paced logistics environment, where your expertise in customs compliance and freight forwarding will play a key role in global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage customs clearance processes for import and export shipments.
Prepare and submit entry filings through CBP’s Automated Broker Interface (ABI) .
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) , FDA, USDA, and other regulatory agencies.
Communicate with government agencies, importers, carriers, and clients to resolve clearance issues efficiently.
Stay updated on trade laws, customs regulations, and tariff changes to provide expert guidance.
Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and audits.
Provide training and support to internal teams on customs compliance and documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
~ Valid U.S. Customs Broker License (required).
~2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international trade.
~ Strong knowledge of HTS classification, free trade agreements, and customs valuation .
~ Proficiency in ACE, ABI, and other customs clearance software .
~ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
~ Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
~ Ability to handle multiple shipments, deadlines, and regulatory complexities.
