ABOUT: Pool House is a rapidly growing, premium clothing brand focused on timeless design, exceptional fits, and high-quality materials. Our retail store in the Los Angeles Arts District serves as a hub for our community, blending fashion, culture, and creativity. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a Retail Store Supervisor who can bring their expertise to enhance our in-store experience and drive sales growth. Our ideal Retail Store Supervisor is a self-driven, experienced retail professional who thrives in autonomy and can take ownership of our store’s success. This isn’t a position where you’ll be micromanaged—we want someone who knows how to run a store effectively, manage inventory and logistics, and, most importantly, drive revenue and incentivize their team to hit sales goals.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

PAY RATE: $25.00 - $30.00 USD / Per Hour

WORK LOCATION: On-Site / Arts District, Downtown Los Angeles, CA

EXPECTED HOURS: 35-40 Hours/Per Week

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Store Operations & Logistics: Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring smooth workflow from inventory control to customer experience.
• Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, optimize conversion rates, and maximize in-store revenue.
• Team Leadership & Motivation: Lead, train, and inspire a high-performing sales team, creating incentives and setting clear performance expectations.
• Inventory & Merchandising: Maintain stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure the store is merchandised to drive sales.
• Customer Experience & Brand Representation: Deliver an engaging, high-touch experience that aligns with Pool House’s brand identity.

NECESSARY SKILLS:

• Strong inventory control and logistics skills—must be comfortable managing stock levels and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with retail POS systems, such as Shopify and Gorgias, and basic financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A track record of driving sales growth and implementing successful revenue-boosting strategies.
• Ability to motivate and incentivize a team to exceed sales targets.
• Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable working autonomously, taking initiative, and problem-solving on the fly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of retail supervisor experience, ideally in fashion, streetwear, or premium apparel.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Availability for scheduling between Monday to Saturday.

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE:

• Typical shift is a 7-Hour Day Shift; usually from the hours of 9:00AM - 5:00PM PT, with varying days between Monday through Saturdays. Scheduling may vary, sometimes requiring alternative hours or days. The store is closed on Sundays.
• Employees must have open availability and flexibility from Monday through Saturday for scheduling.
• Black Out Dates: in Q4 (Nov. 1 - Dec. 31), Holiday Black Out Dates will apply, so PTO requests may not be permitted during this window.
